The Joint Commission
Accredits provider agencies of programs/services for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including mental health and chemical dependency services. Today, The Joint Commission accredits more than 2,100 behavioral health care organizations under the Comprehensive Accreditation Manual for Behavioral Health Care.
