Target Audience Individuals who work in a Community Mental Health Center, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), Indian Health Services or 638 Tribal Facility, Community Mental Health Center, Carelink New Mexico Health Home, Behavioral Health Agency (BHA) with a supervisory certificate, Opioid Treatment Program (OTP), or political subdivision. Certified Peer Support Workers are also welcome. 20-hour CCSS training consists of: Part 1 – Self Directed Study (2 hours) After registering, you will receive course content to read prior to training. Parts 2 & 3 – On line training (14 hours) You must be able to attend all 14 hours of training. Part 4 Self Directed Study (4 hours) After the training you will be given additional self-directed study materials to complete. These must be completed within 6 months of attending the live training in order to receive a certificate.

Registration There is no fee to participate and registration is required. The 14-hours of live training will take place online via Zoom. The MAT ECHO is a learning collaborative, every Tuesday 12-1pm. It’s for EVERYONE. It’s perfect for persons interested in learning more about MAT including prescribing, therapy, and clinic level resources (staffing, billing, etc.), AND for persons that have already started treating patients with Buprenorphine and would like to consult with MAT experts. All clinic staff and providers are welcome to participate.

Our 60-minute zoom didactic series is focused on providing fundamental, clinical education to assist professionals in working effectively with individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. Attendees who would benefit from this series include nurses, case managers, therapists, medical providers, social workers, psychologists, counselors, clinical therapy trainees, certified peer support workers and interns, among others. Primary frontline professionals can be the difference between life and death for patients and community members, yet they are continually at risk for physical injury, compassion fatigue and burnout. And the COVID-19 global pandemic and other epidemics in New Mexico continue to impact first responders and frontline health care workers in unprecedented ways. Our program offers support and resources to combat these hurdles.  

Using the ECHO Model, our program teaches self-care techniques, resiliency and capacity building and best practices. We also foster a community of support from peers, physicians and behavioral health experts.

Didácticas: Tratamientos para la Salud Mental Los invitamos cordialmente desde Albuquerque, Nuevo México a una serie de didácticas en donde cubriremos temas sobre los problemas de salud mental y las adiciones, incluyendo tratamientos prominentes en los Estados Unidos.
